Cosmeceutique Under Eye Gel

MY WONDER EYE GEL

Dark circles are a very common problem. We all try out numerous creams and home remedies but in vain. I myself have been a complete victim to this darkcircles-eradicting search. For me this was my biggest problem until I came upon the Cosmeceutique Circle and their various natural products. Their price range was very economical so I decided to try some of their products including the sunscreen, face wash and this UNDER EYE GEL.

Cosmeceutique say:
“Gentle, light-weight, and non-oily formulation made with pure natural ingredients smoothens and softens the delicate skin around the eyes, helps retain moisture balance, reduces fine lines and lightens dark circles.”

It has a safe ingredient list of:
M Water, cucumber extract, green tea extract, margosa extract, white lilly extract, quince seed extract, withania sominifera, kurchi bark, glycerine, acrylated crosspolymer, xanthun gum, potassium hydroxide, chemomile, sodium benzoae, 2-Phenoxyethanol

Cucumber extract – soothes and helps relieve the puffiness of the skin.
Green tea extract – helps retain skin moisture and slows down the anti-aging process.

Directions to use:
Apply twice daily around the eye area using your fingertips. Avoid dragging the skin as this may result in the formation of lines.

How did Cosmeceutique Under Eye Gel treat me?
I will also compare this gel to the Vince Hydrating Eye Serum (which I reviewed in my last post).

This gel comes in a 20ml tube with the standard price of Rs. 450; unlike Vince Eye Serum which comes in a 15ml tube of Rs. 750. A big difference, and more when the cheaper works and the other does not.

As you can see in the picture the gel is translucent, almost-colourless. It is non-oily and absorbs in your skin easily. When you apply Vince Eye Serum your eye area does not feel sticky AT ALL. But Cosmeceutique Eye Gel sticks lightly if you touch your eye sockets after application. In the morning I always use compact powder after applying so it does not really bother me. Though it is not that sticky to really be a bother or even worth mentioning. But because I am doing a review from all aspects I had to say it. In the scent area Vince Eye Serum takes the lead as I said in my last post I love how it smells. Cosmeceutique smells like a herbal product, which is not a fragrance but neither an odour.

Now onto its results...
I had pretty bad shadows around me eyes. I never believe in too much makeup so never made concealers my cover. I have not much time to sleep, eat and exercise well. I use a lot of computer which tires out my eyes. Therefore, I needed something that works with my non-healthy routine. And for me Cosmeceutique Under Eye Gel worked. REALLY WORKED! Within 3 weeks I noticed a considerable difference around my eyes. My eyes stopped looking tired, got a radiant glow to them and my shadows reduced. My thoughts were confirmed when my colleagues at work started commenting on this change.

I don’t think any cream is that wondrous to completely eliminate dark circles though I cannot yet comment on it too because such change can only be felt after regular use of more than 6 months

It has been more than two months since I have been using this gel. And yes, I did it buy it again too. So I would recommend Cosmeceutique Under Eye Gel to all of you out there. I don’t think there’s a problem in just trying out something that costs only Rs. 450 and seeing for yourself.

Cosmeceutique is available all over Pakistan. You can always order online at:
