PRICE
£13.25
Buy from Liz Earle.

FACTS AND FIGURES
This mask comes with 2 sponges. It is available in 75ml and 15ml tubes. I got the the 75ml starter kit.

MY OPINION
As usual, the packing was very refined. The Deep Cleansing Mask came in a Liz Earle zip-up kit bag. The best thing about Liz Earle products is you get everything you need along with it. You don’t need to look around for sponges or muslin clothes. The entire package makes this product travel-friendly. The mask is closer to thin consistency and glides effortlessly. You do need a generous amount to cover your face. The smell, for once, is not heady and overwhelming as most Liz Earle products are. It is very subtle and refreshing like clay and honey. Once applied, I felt a comfortable tingling sensation. The sponges were very handy to remove the mask. After removing, my skin looked totally clear and soft. It did not dry out my face as most masks tend to. I had a radiant and healthy face for two days.

RATING
A GREAT mask to include in your skincare regime.

SMOOTHING LINE SERUM

Gently pat over face and neck, paying special attention to the eye area.
Naturally Active ingredients include antioxidant grapeseed extract and soothing echinacea for softer, smoother skin.

PRICE
£13.75

FACTS AND FIGURES
This is a 10ml pump. Also available in 5ml tube.

MY OPINION
Previously I was using Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Light which didn’t quite work out for me. Louise from Liz Earle was very kind to send me this Smoothing Lining Serum, to be used as a moisturiser. The only shock that comes is that the serum is a very tiny bottle, something you may like to use for your lines/wrinkles but not enough to last you as a moisturiser. The good part is that you just need a dash to pat around your face. Its consistency is like oil but NOT greasy. What impressed me was that I was totally expecting it to clog my pores and break me out but I have been using it for two weeks and all it has done is to provide perfect nourishment to my combination skin. It has a faint scent which is not even noticeable. I have no idea how it works on smoothing lines, but I have never before found a moisturiser that completely smoothes out drying parts of my skin and does not break out the oily zone. This surprisingly does wonders here. The only con is the price compared to the tiny amount you get.

RATING
The perfect moisturiser for oily-combination skin IF you can afford it.

Sneak Peak: Color Studio Professional Nail Polishes

Don't we all love funky, sassy colours to wear on our nails? The usual maroons and browns are no longer fun. Yellows, hot pinks, scarlets, royal blues are the new trend. But in Pakistan it is so hard to get these IN colours for a price within everybody's reach.
Colour Studio Professional has brought fashion, budget and quality in their wide assortment of Nail Polishes. I reviewed one of them two weeks ago. I was so mesmerized by their gorgeous range that I thought it would be a perfect gift for someone. So, here is a sneak peak at the shades I bought for PKR 250 each.

Here is a closer look at each shade.
(L-R) Kamikaze, Dancing Queen, Mojito, Electrique

Kamikaze is an opaque tangerine orange.
Dancing Queen is a subtle beige shade with a pink undertone and light shimmers.
Mojito is a total apple green shade.
Electrique is an electric navy blue with tiny royal blue glitters. (swatch here)

Rara is the hottest burgundy colour I have ever come across, kind of purplish red.
Cosmo is a beautiful powder pink.
Bombshell is a bright crimson, kind of red with pink undertones.
Toronto is a bright dark violet.

Have you tried Color Studio Professional Nail Polishes? Which shade is your love?

Review: Jelly Pong Pong Dynamic Duo and Gloss Bonbon

After the amazing Cheek Puff I badly wanted more of Jelly Pong Pong in my vanity case. I was ecstatic when I won these bits and pieces in their Blogger Giveaway Contest. For once and for all I will mention it here instead of raving about it all along in the review, Jelly Pong Pong has the QUIRKIEST, SASSIEST packaging of all. The bits and pieces I won were:
Dynamic Duo (Ballerina Lace)
In today's post I will review the first two products.

DYNAMIC DUO (Ballerina Lace)

JELLY PONG PONG SAYS
Our superior shadows are perfect applied wet or dry, and come in a stunning range of original colours. A light veil of shimmer ensures they double beautifully as a cheek highlighter.
Bonus : Comes in our signature candy-striped compact with mirror for easy application.

PRICE
GBP 15.00 ($ 18.00)
Buy it online from Jelly PongPong or Cherryculture.

(L-R) Bronze, Light Fuschia
FACTS AND FIGURES
Dynamic Duo comes in a compact with mirror. It is available in 10 different shades. I received Ballerina Lace which is a combo of Bronze and Light Fuschia.

MY OPINION
The candy-striped compact with sturdy cardboard is totally girly and cute. The tiny mirror inside makes it great for on-the-go application and the magnetic closure makes it safe. The name Ballerina Lace is so princess-y. Light Fuschia is a baby pink with very mellow shimmers and bronze (I don’t know why it is named that) is off-white.
Sadly eyeshadow quality did not woo me as much as much its packaging did. The shades are more good for highlighting. The light fuschia can be worn even for work. This illusive shade can look pretty and magical if worn the right way even on an occasion, because you really need to bring out its subtlety. It will really compliment lighter skin tones. Bronze on the other hand is very rough in the pan with almost no colour payoff. I swiped it about 8 times before I attained the swatch below. Without a good primer, both the colours don’t show up and fade away quickly.
I think only this particular Ballerina Lace duo has a low colour payoff because of its light colours, the rest of the Dynamic Duo shades are darker and seem more pigmented.
(Swatches at the end)

RATING
I’d probably give this one a pass. If I want to purchase I’d go for the darker duos.

GLOSS BONBON (Macaroon)

JELLY PONG PONG SAYS
We are in a cherubic state of mind with this confectionary stain. It consists of a bonbon-scented candy-gloss formula for your lips and a delicate crème-to-powder one for your cheeks. All in a sweet travel size for a quick & sugary-easy application anywhere. Take delight in making yourself look absolutely delicious!
Bonus : Formulated with emollients such as Beeswax & Aloe Vera Gel, as well as soothing antioxidants in the form of Vitamin E and Chamomile Flower extract.

PRICE
GBP 8.00 ($ 12.00)
Buy it online from Jelly PongPong or Cherryculture.

Labeled double-ended  Gloss Bonbon tube
FACTS AND FIGURES
Gloss Bonbon is a multifunctional stain for lips and cheeks that comes in a 5.5g travel size double-ended tube. It is available in 5 colours. I got Macaroon, with Sweet Cerise for lips and Orange Choc for cheeks.

MY OPINION
I did not hear many good reviews about this, so I was really skeptical about how it will turn out. After seeing for myself, I got to know one thing, that makeup certainly is our own personal thing. I LOVE this, the only thing that worries me is the size, because I will use it up soon :/ But the good thing about the size is that it fits anywhere, even your wallet.
Both the lip and cheek stain have a doe foot applicator. The lip stain is just like another gloss, in a sheer peachy shade which is also moisturising and not at all sticky. Corals and peaches are my favourite lip colours, so I am delighted I got Macaroon. There is no shimmer or glitter, yayy! though the gloss does not last very long. The cheek stain is a reddish pink and you need to really, really blend it out to avoid looking like a baboon. I use my fingers to blend it out on my cheeks. To me it smells kind of plastic, maybe that’s how bonbon smells, I am not sure.

RATING
I’d definitely buy it again and in some more colours, because it is the best travel-friendly multifunctional lip and cheek stain; preps you for anywhere within seconds.

NOTD: Color Studio Nail Polish in 'Electrique' + Stamping

It is impossible if you are in Pakistan and you still haven't heard all the hype Colour Studio Professional has created with its nail colours? They give you everything from the funky yellows to the lilacs that remind you of violets and with the price anybody can afford.
After hearing so much about its festive shades, I was dying to try them out. While choosing, I was paralysed with indecision with all the cheery nail colours and my desire to grab all. I had no idea how good this polish was so I just bought this one in Electrique. Exciting name, right? I like companies that name their products instead of giving them numbers. Well, the shade is all its name and more.

I have never, NEVER, seen a more beautiful blue. What may I call it? Err..shimmery, bright, catchy, denim blue? The picture doesn’t even do justice to the beauty of the shade. I am sure, this colour will suit ALL nails and skin tones. I have applied two coats of the polish. Electrique has slight glitter in it, making it all the more dazzling. The polish comes in a fat bottle of 11ml with the price tag of PKR 250. And seriously I like the look of this FAT bottle, makes you think you are getting more product, when you aren’t :P But honestly the bottle looks cute. Apart from the exquisiteness of the colour, the polish does not chip off or starts looking worn out after a day or two. I wore it for 3 days (that’s the max I can go), and it stayed crisp till the final hour. Like all glitter polishes, it was difficult to take it off, unless you quit being lazy and try following the tips that makes taking glitter polishes off easy. But I sadly am lazy.

I shot this picture in flash light.
Isn't it one EXOTIC blue?

I trapped my sister to subjecting herself to my stamping mania. Here’s what I did on top of Electrique with Born Pretty Store’s floral stamping plate (review here).
