Born Pretty Store Zipper Nail Decals - Review & Swatches

Born Pretty Store Zipper Nail Decals

I received the Born Pretty Store Nail Foils and these Zipper Nail Decals together. I started with the foils thinking they'd be the easiest thing to do and kept procrastinating with these water decals, since they looked quite tricky. Well, in both cases I was proved wrong. I had a messy foil application even after three attempts but these nails decals were as easy as 1..2..3.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Paint your nails with the colour of your choice.
2. Remove the plastic wrap from the nail sticker sheet.
3. Cut out the decal you want.
4. Dip the decal into water for 20-30 seconds with the help of a tweezer.
5. With the tweezer, remove the decal from the sheet and apply on your nails.
6. Adjust the decal and then seal with a top coat.
7. Trim off extra ends with a nail clipper.

These zipper water decals are available in silver and gold with 20 pieces in each. I love gold in nail art so chose these. Trust me, even a kid can apply them without messing up. Even after putting the decals on your nails you can easily move around till you are satisfied with their spot. And as you can see they look AMAZING. Head over google for ideas and you will be surprised with how many ways you can use them. Instead of doing my full hand I decided to do accents of zip on my nails.

I painted all my nails with Calvin Klein Navy Sparkle, a beautiful shimmery denim blue shade. On my index and ring finger, I applied the Born Pretty Store Zipper Nail Decals. I created kind of a gradient on my middle finger and thumb using Essence Special Effect Topper in Circus Confetti. And with my Born Pretty Store dotting tool I made two dots on my pinkie using Essie Penny Talk. Lastly, I sealed everything with Essence Quick Dry Top Coat. I seriously LOVEE how everything came out.

Tutorials take so much time and effort, and seldom come out of the way I want them too. As soon as I get time I will try doing a tutorial on how to apply these water decals.
