MY OPINION
The first time I applied this eyeliner, I wasn't wowed. It wasn't black and glossy enough. I came online to read its description and from that day forth I noticed it does what it claims. It never claimed to be the blackest of the black. It does say it is a non-staining, non-smudging eyeliner that gives precise application and that is what it does.

Friesian is a charcoal black shade which I would have preferred to be deep black but it isn't. This luxurious looking eyeliner pen with rubberized padding where it is meant to be grasped does look fancy. It has a very perfect felt tip, not too stiff, not too flexible and not too long. After repetitive use of Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner I have noticed longer tips tend to wear quicker and start slacking at the ends. RBR Satin Eyeliner gives me a firm hold and precise application. Although I feel there is a very slight lag in the dispersion of the product. I have to swipe a couple of times to achieve the right colour intensity.

Apart from that, it does not smudge or smear and does dry very, very quickly. It isn't waterproof though. It does last all day on my eyes not fading in its colour intensity even slightly. Kudos for that! I definitely think Blue Roan would be a stunning colour to get with its midnight blue shade. I can already imagine how stunning it will look on brown eyes.

MY RATING

If you are looking for a satin-y charcoal black eyeliner which doesn't smear, smudge, dries quickly and lasts long then this is for you. If what you want is a deep black eyeliner then maybe like me you will be more into their shade Blue Roan. ;)
