MY OPINION
When Balm Balm says this coconut cleanser is 'super light' they mean it. I have never come across a more gentle oil-based cleanser that will suit all skin types. This 100% organic, fragrance-free cleanser is a light oil which even removes the most stubborn of mascaras and does not feel super greasy. I have been using this cleanser regularly for the past few days and it hasn't broken me out at all. It does not strip my skin off my natural oils either and makes my skin feel plump, hydrated and clean.

Directions of Use (according to the website):
  • Pour a small amount of the cleanser into the palm of your hand and apply to the face and neck with fingertips. Remove with a damp cloth or cotton wool pad.
  • For a deeper cleanse, damp a muslin cloth in hot water, apply to areas which have had cleanser applied, leave for a few minutes and then wipe clean.
I am in a habit of double cleansing, so for removing makeup I massage this Coconut Cleanser on my face and wipe clean with Balm Balm's Organic Muslin Cloth, following up with their Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm (another product I am smitten with atm) for a deeper cleanse.

On the downside, I just have problem with the packaging. The cleanser as the pictures tell you comes in a bottle with a big gaping hole on top and no stopper whatsoever. Apart from the fact that you end with a lot more product in your hands than you need, the bottle also is nuisance to travel with, it spills if not put upright.

I sincerely, sincerely hope Balm Balm improve the packaging as I am so hooked to this cleanser and considering the fact it so easily available online and moderately priced, I see myself repurchasing it very often.

I love me a good skincare product and I am super impressed with Balm Balm's organic skincare range.

MY RATING

An amazing cleanser that removes stubborn makeup without feeling harsh on the skin. I just wish it was packaged slightly better!
