MY OPINION
With W7 Mega Matte Lips quickly becoming my must-haves, I was more than excited to dig into the W7 In The Night Eyeshadow Palette. Coming in a metallic tin case, this palette consists of 12 shades for fun, nighttime, smokey looks. It also comes with a dual-ended brush which is definitely an upgrade from the typical sponge tip applicators. The palette is very light-weight which makes it travel-friendly.

The eyeshadows are all shimmery with only two or three being nicely pigmented. I was pretty disappointed with the pigmentation. I was looking around the web and was surprised to see how pigmented some of the swatches look, which is weird since I swiped thrice to get the above swatches. Of course, the swatches are without an eye primer underneath. With these I absolutely recommend an eye primer for best colour payoff. Laura E (a reddish copper) and Gate Crash (a bluish-grey) are my favourite of them all and the ones with good pigmentation. Party Pooper also has good colour payoff and is a beautiful shade for inner corner highlight.

No doubt, all the eyeshadows are incredible, they just lack in pigmentation. If you want to play with these colours do invest in a good eye primer. The good part is they have minimum fallout, blend really well and are not chalky at all.

MY RATING

Stunning mix of shimmery shades that sadly lack in pigmentation!
