Review: Saeed Ghani Skin Polish

This review was requested by K.A in the May - Top 8.

Gentle enough for everyday use, or as often as desired. Deeply cleans any area of the face & body and removes dead skin cells. Beneficial for teen and adult acne or blackheads. Excellent cleanser for normal, oily and dry skin.

PKR 135
It is available at all Saeed Ghani outlets. You can also buy online HERE.

It comes in a 100-ml spray bottle. It is very similar to the Rose Water except for the colour which is yellow.

Moisten face, spray and apply with finger tips. Massage gently. Rinse well and pat dry. Use every day.

The first mistake I did was to use it like Rose Water. Hah! And I ended up with a yellow face. So, the rinsing off part is very important.

I have clear skin and I normally don’t suffer from any severe problems of acne or blackheads. I bought this Skin Polish just because it was pretty inexpensive and kind of tempting. I keep it in the fridge and sometimes (not every day, because I forget) I spray it on my face and rinse off. I’d say it really makes me feel cleaner and because I use it cold I feel refreshing too. It may work on mild acne but I have doubt about serious acne problems. The good part is that this Skin Polish is suitable for all skin types.

I’d say give it a try. It is not expensive and does clean your skin and makes it glow.  Plus, you can easily carry it around in your handbag. But it is not something out-of-the-ordinary. I won’t buy it again because there are many other things that make me feel clean.

Have you tried this Skin Polish?

  17. very interested product and concept... does it bleach the skin though? In America, everyone is obsessed with being bronze, so I don't know if it would do well here lol :)))

  18. re: I totally agree with your statement and can see where you're coming from. Yeah, American culture requires us to look like beach bunnies all year round, it's pretty weird if you think about it... I guess in the western culture, it stems from the fact that "one is tan is they have the luxury to spend a lot of leisurely time in the sun, beach, vacation, etc. i.e not working". In eastern cultures, its the opposite, "one is tan if they spend a lot of time working outdoors and they're fair if they've got the luxury to stay at home"... It's crazy if you think about it, and I'm always reminded of this difference when I go back home to Russia (they share the eastern view) and don't understand why I want to be tan all the time lol

  19. P. S. plus, a lot ethnic people share the unfortunate idea that "white is right" and that europeans have more privileges. In America, we're drifting further and further away from that notion (thank god) with loads of non-european celebrities representing beauty in another form. I personally find darker skin healthier and more beautiful, and maybe it's because I want to go against the grain... I don't know... Sorry for my rant, I can go on and on about this because I'm very interested in race and ethnic relations as well as psychology, sociology and anthropology... maybe I should post about all this lol
